OpenText program overview

The rationale and proposed format for the MSP Sales Leadership Mastermind. A collaboration concept—not an approved program or committed budget.

Why this approach

Sales symptoms. Whole-journey causes. Focused action.

A missed target does not identify the change that will move it. The assessment considers all 10 GTM systems—the practices used to find, win, deliver, keep and grow client relationships. Participants use evidence to identify a likely constraint, preserve effective practices and choose three priorities, rather than overhaul the whole business.

One shared annual company plan defines a baseline, desired results, tradeoffs, capacity and named commitments. The sales leader calls the strokes; the owner agrees direction and resources; the team executes together. Scheduled peer sessions pressure-test priorities, turn intentions into bounded actions and review evidence from real work. This is designed to support follow-through; no success uplift is claimed.

Proposed audience

  • MSP owners and sales leaders at OpenText partners, with Platinum partners as the intended pilot group.
  • Eligibility subject to OpenText confirmation.

Proposed 90-day pilot

  • A pilot cohort of 20–30 leaders, offered as a proposal for review.
  • Participants complete an assessment, draft their company growth plan and join facilitated peer sessions.
  • Pilot learnings inform whether and how to run the longer journey.

Longer annual journey

  • 12 months of monthly facilitated peer sessions.
  • Quarterly plan reviews against milestones.
  • Annual reassessment to set the next year's priorities.

Proposed evaluation

How progress would be measured

Attendance

Participation in facilitated sessions and plan reviews.

Commitment completion

Share of individual leadership commitments completed by each milestone.

Practice improvements

Changes in observable practices — e.g. documented discovery or coaching cadence — sampled with consistent definitions.

Business outcomes — reported separately

Pipeline, conversion or revenue changes would be reported separately from program measures. Many factors influence these results, so they should not be attributed solely to the program. No metrics are shown here because no program has run.
